Hours live inside the task
Open the task, type “1h 30m” and say what you did. The total adds up on its own, and the report for the period closes the account per client. A task with more than one label adds its hours to all of them: the question is how much time went to each subject, not how to split a total.

The document you send to the client
Scope, meeting notes, proposal: write it in the editor and generate a public link. The client opens it in the browser, with no account and no email attachment.
